Atlas Shrugged - Leonard Peikoff, Ayn Rand It seems to me, you either really like this book or you really hate it. There doesn't seem to be much in between. For me, I loved it. It motivated me to make all of my actions count and to not depend on others for my happiness. I know this book is long and there is some substantial ranting (I'm looking at you John Galt) but the basic premise is beneficial to society. Use your brain, work hard, and don't take advantage of people. Or at least that's what I got out of it ;)
